SÃO PAULO, October 31, 2019 /PRNewswire/ — It all started in 2014 when CleanNew invested in Business Consulting and created a company in the field of upholstery cleaning and shielding, differentiating itself in a highly competitive market.
Entrepreneur Fritz Paixão bet on the female audience, which was in high demand, by offering a premium dry car wash service, conveniently provided at home in residential complexes in Salvador. "We had the perfect business model, but we encountered the condominium regulations that prohibited this type of service during the nighttime," recalls Fritz, who overcame his first obstacle in November of that year to put the business plan into action.
The well-executed work quickly yielded a new market niche, stemming from customer requests for upholstery cleaning services as well. "I ended up learning everything on my own because I realized that in this field, services were being done by amateurs and companies without much recognition. It was the missing piece for me to stand out and focus on professionalizing the segment and building brand recognition," he explains.
With the creation of the new venture, Fritz was able to cater to individuals interested in upholstery waterproofing. He secured a partnership with a chemical industry that provided a unique product capable of meeting cost and benefit demands.
"I adopted the term 'upholstery shielding' for this, because I used a material that could preserve the color and texture of the fabric, was non-flammable, and yet remained affordable," he reveals.

In just a year and a half, CleanNew raised its revenue from R$ 15,000 to R$ 2.5 million per year.
Conquering the Franchising Market
The success of the upholstery shielding and cleaning company sparked Fritz's interest in attending a franchise fair. After analysis and extensive networking with other entrepreneurs from various fields who had already become franchisors, he realized it was time to move in that direction. "I invested everything I had in it and started selling, providing all the support and ensuring that things worked," he explains..
The first CleanNew franchise was opened in Fortaleza (CE) in March of this year, followed by Aracaju, Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Belo Horizonte, until reaching a total of 34 franchises established in the country, and 4 Master Franchises abroad. "Argentina, Spain, the USA, and Colombia were part of our brand internationalization process, and the results are being spectacular," Fritz reveals..
The next steps are being kept under wraps, but the entrepreneur guarantees: "We are entering the Arab market in 2020, there is a grand project for CleanNew that involves a lot of planning, boldness, and a dose of technology. We are going to revolutionize the market!" Fritz comments.
The numbers from CleanNew are astonishing. In 2018, while Brazil's economy grew by only 0.2%, the franchise network experienced double-digit growth, reaching almost 80%, a remarkable figure considering the country's economic crisis. "There is still a lot to grow and a lot of market to be conquered. 2019 was a year for brand structuring to achieve even greater growth in 2020. Our expectation is to achieve a turnover of around 15 million," Fritz affirms.
